No more sleeps - no more wake ups - IT'S PRINE DAY for us 'Peggers'! (Winnipegger's)
I woke up this morning with my Prine face already on - a smile that goes from ear to ear....and the day is just going to keep getting better!

I understand that pit of the stomach flip flop of excitement! It's going to be a good day, SE. I hope your seats are good, let us know!

We are living our weekend through you, just like CC and JPP. Keep us posted SE! Going to try the 'alley strategy'? |

And here I thought that stomach thing was from eating last nights left overs for breakfast!
RS - I'll do my best! I'm afraid I won't be trying the back alley strategy, though. Alleys totally creep me out. I don't like them. |

Even when they enable you to meet John Prine? And the whole crew? And a host of other people who are like-minded and have great John Prine stories, too?
I am proud of my recently gained status of B.A.G. - Back Alley Gal! Be there or be square!

I guess I'll be a 'Square Peg-ger' then. ha ha
I'd stand in the rain, snow, or 40 below if he came out any place else, but not there. Who knows though - maybe if I'm lucky I'll run into him at Costco or the dry cleaners this afternoon - it is a small world you know! |

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, SE. Take the picture of the "cake" just in case you run into him! I'm sure he would get a kick out of seeing the cook! |

I can guarantee you SE that he has seen the cake... maybe even drooled a little over it and smiled real big.... I'm suppose to tell you "Thank you (blush) and hope it was as delicious as it looked, very clever" These kind of things just blow our Johnny away...... |

GET OUT!! That just made my day! ('wasn't sure of his vegetable preferences - so I just went with the 'where-in-the-hell-you-beans')! How cool to think I actually made John Prine smile! |
