If you subscribe to Jason Wilber's "WilberNews" I'm sure you have heard Jason has 2 new CD's out. I ordered mine on Tuesday!
Did you get his e-mail today? Where he uses all that "Halloween Talk" like "a spooky DEADline is coming" and "What could be more HORRIFYING than missing out on the deal"
It's pretty funny, he must have had a good time putting it together.
Anyway, I am looking forward to getting a nice little Halloween present in the mail! I also got his Lazy Afternoon T-shirt, so I will be properly attired next time I get to go to a house concert of his. |

I received Jason's two new CD's in the mail yesterday. "Ghosts Of Summers Past" was the one I sat down and listened to first. On the inside cover he explains that most of these songs he wrote in his late teens and early twenties. He recorded them, but didn't like the way the vocals came out.
So, like a lot of things, the tapes got shelved and he never got back to them. Until 2008. He re-recorded what he didn't like, and capped it off with a new song "I'm A Little Older Now"
I'm no critic, but I think it is a nice mix of songs. Some sad, some sweet and a really funny one called "The Great Cow Of Romance." It shows that even back then, Jason was a talented songwriter. |

I'm sure it will be any day now. I also got his "Lazy Afternoon" T-shirt. It is really colorful. A note to anyone considering getting one, the sizes run a little large. And it's a Hanes, so it probably won't shrink up that much.
I can't wait to wear it to his next house concert. |
