What would your John Prine tattoo be? Where would it be?
My tattoo would be on my belly, a picture of two kegs stating "Give to Milwaukee, if they run out of beer!" |

I got my whole idea of making John Prine pendants from NoTicketDonna's tattoo. Once I saw that interpretation, I KNEW I could make a blue umbrella and a broken heart in a dirty window.
I don't have any tattoos, but if I would get one, it would be John Prine related. I kind of fancy that "Rod Lyman" but I think the idea of a tattoo on a woman's chest isn't a good idea - in the long run. |

That'd be a great place to tattoo something related to the Minnesota Twins! |

Certainly not a great place for any floral art, though. What starts as a perky little posie in your youth will end up a lazy daisy down the road ... or that pretty little rose bud will turn into the long stem variety!
'IF' I was to get a Prine related tattoo.... I think I'd get some daisies on the small of my back, and the sunshine that feeds them on a shoulder blade. I think that would be cool - but I'll never do it!

I have no idea.
Perhaps if you check some local pin prick establishment you would get in the know. Google it!

Come on Knik - We should make a pact! We'll ALL get a Prine tattoo. We'll join the ranks of NoTicketDonna, Rod Lyman and Crusher!
What do you say? SE? JPP? RS? John T? |

Nope! I'm not a needle fan at all. In fact I'm SO not a fan that I think I'd rather have a baby than get a tattoo!
Now, if Oh Boy was to come out with some Prine Tattoos like the lick'n'stick kind we used to get in a pack with a piece of gum - then I'd be game for it!

I've already got all I'm going to get. One red rose on the right arm and a yellow rose through a red heart on the left.

I, too, am not a needle fan. However, if I opted for it - it would be that honey bee sitting in the left backside of me jpp |

....just a nice little what though RS....that's the question?
JT - was the one red rose Prine related or another story? I thought you sailors just got 'anchors' or 'can of spinach' tattoos? |

JPP - your left backside isn't big enough for a tattoo!! If you want one, I'm afraid you'll need to get a surrogate! |

Nope- not Prine inspired but cool it worked out that way. Never saw a nautical design I liked enough to get. |

Yes it is! It is way better tatoo material than the left boob material. jpp |

I think that might be the first time the word boob has been used here at the Shrine. Cool!!! |

Yes, Oh Boy needs to make a set of temporary tattoos that are all Prine related. Then all us chickens could slap one on right befor a show! |
