REVIEWS OF THE
JOHN PRINE IN '99 PARADISE CONCERT TOUR
MISSOURI SHOWS
FOLLY THEATRE, KC APRIL 30, 1999
FROM: YOUR FANS FROM NORTHWEST
MISSOURI
As usual you put on a GREAT show. You have alot of fans from Savannah &
Fillmore MISSOURI, North of KC. We wanted to say THANK YOU for reading the note
& dedicating the song "Angel From Montgomery" to our friend
"CRAWDAD". He was a good friend & was wrongfully taken from
us in a horrible way. Crawdad was also a big fan of yours. Thanks for
making the music for us to enjoy.
FROM: Mike Hinton Always a St. Louisan at heart
We saw John at the Folly Theater in Kansas City on April 30. Another very fine show. John
was in good spirits and looked great. We were concerned about opportunities to see John
since we relocated here from St. Louis, because we were told that he seldom comes to
Kansas City. For us, the highlight(s) of the show was an emotional rendition of
"Donald And Lydia", and an almost haunting rendering of "Angel From
Montgomery".This is to say that he has a great fan base in this area. The show was
sold out long before the date. Thanks

Saw Prine in concert in Kansas City on April 30. My first concert and I found it to be as
good as I had hoped. Prine's voice was a little weak at times but stayed up there for 3
full hours. Great entertainer, this guy. ~ DocG
