Here are the pics I have been talking about for
these many months. I believe there may be a few more..will keep checking. The
pics were taken on a Nikon FA with a 100 mm lens...I think I was using ASA800 film and no
flash.
The Venue was the Fox Theatre in Stockton, CA (great venue) sometime in late 1985 or early 1986. The opening act was Dirk Hamilton (from Stockton. They toured together a bit I believe). Then Arlo Guthrie played, then John Prine. He had only the bearded guy with the Orange Stratocaster, no other band. At the end, he brought out Dirk Hamilton and his guitar tech (in the hat) and they did a couple of songs. |
