John's concert at the Alabama Theatre last Thursday in Birmingham (AL) was absolutely
wonderful! He was obviously quite happy to be on stage, LIVE and in person, and
put on a hell of a show. Even danced a jig or two in his blissful state -- it was all we
could do to stay in our seats (or stand in front of them!). Brought Todd Snider on to play
with him during the encore -- and talked about his cancer a few times during the show.
Absolutely a Prime Prine Evening! Hope the rest of the shows are as blissful.
