Well I guess I'll add my two cents worth. I'll start by
saying I was waiting to get back to see him like everyone else was. Reeda and Crusher, and Kathy were back there with him, and we waited quite awhile when Jeannette and I decided to go get our cars and park them closer. We walked to my car, and I drove Jeannette to her car. We drove back to the theater and Jeannette pull right up in front of the theater and got out. I turned around and parked on the other side of the street. By the time I got out of my car, Jeannette was already in the back of the stage to meet John as were everyone else that was waiting to get back to see John. So I high tailed it back there, but the bouncer of the theater stopped! d me. He said no more people were allowed to go back stage. Well, talk about one pissed off lady, I was one. I've been trying to get back for the last three or four times I've seen John, and I just knew this was going to be the time. And this guy tells me I can't go back? On top of that he was the guy who made me take my film out of my camera and give it to him just before the concert was over. So needless to say I wasn't too thrilled. I said in a not to subtle tone, "That's that same {Bleep} that took my film from me, and now he won't let me go meet John?" Bitch moan Bitch moan. About that time he waves two more people back stage. Meeting John was the biggest thrill of my life. As you can see by the picture that Zack! took that is one happy woman. Oh yes on my way out of the theater I thanked the bouncer profusely, but I didn't quite know how to apologize to him for calling him a (Bleep}. I sure hope we get together and do this again some time before I'm to old to be camping out. ©2002 Lyla Bridges |
