I've waited long enough. It's time for my story.

Wogstock was...and forever will be a hell of a memory for me and my family.  After all the stories of how "only the weirdo's" of the internet meet for things like this, and after all the joking for me to take along my Nikes and kool-aid and a purple shroud...I can say that it was really not a weird thing at all.  Meeting all these faceless people for the first time after months and months of chatting with them about John Prine and music in general, was just like meeting a whole wad of family.  We seemed to know enough about each other to feel familiar. It was a relaxed atmosphere peace, pool, and prine paraphernalia.  From the moment I walked in the door I "knew" these people.  I almost named them all. I screwed up on Briny and then I thought that Rick and Jane were Wog's kids...he may be a wise old geezer but not that old.

We had just finished vacationing in Missouri with my family and the car was crammed with everything a family could need...including those damned t-shirts...We lugged them across several states before they reached their destination.  I was so excited to show them off.  As we drug our junk in I started laying out the t-shirts and the reaction was terrific.  Prinesters picked up several of them and I was particularly tickled that we would wouldn't be dragging that load back with us.  I could save some room for concert goodies that I'd hoped to pick up.

The girls immediately put on their swimsuits and hit the pool, after all we were just a bunch of "old Geezers" going to see an Old Geezer sing.  soon they were surprised that these old geezers treated them like people and not kids.  They acted interested in their interests and they were particularly fond of playing with Briny.  He may teach some highly educated things to some highly educated wanna be's but you could have fooled me.  I really expected him to be much older and possibly kind of boring.  Nay says I.  This guy was a nut.  He would take flying leaps into the pool and amaze us all with his ridiculousness......

I was thrilled to meet jimmy digbrew.  He is such a gentle old soul.  Poor guy couldn't bring his medication with him, and I know his back must have been hurting him...and ya know I don't think that I heard him complain about it once.  I seriously think that he will never grow up....not that I mean that he doesn't know how to act like an adult...just that he seems to accept things as they are and not  try to change them.  Lydia aka 2smart enjoyed his company and she doesn't like to admit that us old geezers are pretty cool, in fact, she'll deny it if any of her hormonal friends should ask.

AND THAT IS AS FAR AS I HAVE GOTTEN>>>>EVERY NOW AND THEN I MAY GET A MEMORY AND ATTEMPT TO EDIT MY STORY, BUT FOR NOW YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO PUT UP THE INCOMPLETENESS AND TYPOS......SORRY, BUT I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO FINISH THE STORY......GUESS IT'S BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO PUT ANY KIND OF END TO IT...
