2nd time seeing The Man. 1st time was when he had Iris with him in New Orleans in December 2002. Last good time I had had in quite a while (long story - involves death). This show jumpstarted my grin again. Thanks John. Todd Snider opened with a great but short show. He is a "live" animal. John proceeded to play for 2 1/2 non stop glorious hours. Hurry up with that damn new album. I need to hear those songs again. John mentioned that he might have made a mistake in never playing Wichita. He was so right and I hope he comes back soon. A very appreciative audience.
I hope the river was conducive to John's short vacation fishing with his brother in Arkansas. I've never caught nothing there but sizzzzzled a few sausages. Till next time everything is cool.

Wow! Wow! Wow!
That was One of the best if not the best concert I have ever been to! and I've been going to concerts for 32yrs
Todd Snider opened for him and he's really good , but John pulled out all the stops he must have played for three hrs. It was like hearing every song for the first time! No one tells a story like Prine! When he did the sad songs there wasn't a dry eye in the place, when he did the funny ones the place roared. He has sure put together some great musicians to back him up, He is one polished class act! with or with out his band he did it both ways! The Orpheum is a great venue to see music I had never been there for a concert before, theres not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are awesome!!
I hope he comes back soon!!
