  The Sage is a great modern music venue which is shaped (from the outside) like a giant armadillo. it has fantastic purpose-built music rooms with awesome acoustics. They can be found at http://www.thesagegateshead.org
   John sang and played for 2 hours. There were some wonderful stories in between songs and of course the songs are of such great quality. But, you know all this already. I was talking to my boss at work who doesn't know a lot about John, but was thrilled by his performance and his winning personality.
   Paradise is my favourite and it was played last. Plus... I got a baseball hat.
